Regional Transportation Planning Agency Contracted Staff

Inyo County Local Transportation Commission

Over the past 10 years, LSC has provided on-call transportation planning support for the Inyo County Local Transportation Commission. This involved updating the Regional Transportation Plan, writing Active Transportation Program (ATP) and Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) grants, conducting public outreach and providing expertise on various RTPA efforts.

Lassen County Transportation Commission

Since 2018, LSC has been part of the staffing team for the Lassen County Transportation Commission (LCTC), providing support in transit planning, public outreach, and grant writing. In this role, LSC has facilitated Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) meetings, prepared Unmet Transit Needs reports, secured several Sustainable Transportation Planning grants, and developed the LCTC Transportation Development Act Guidebook. LSC has also updated key planning documents, including the Short-Range Transit Plan for Lassen Rural Bus, the Active Transportation Plan, and the Regional Transportation Plan.

In addition, LSC leads public outreach efforts for LCTC. These activities have included hosting pop-up workshops at the farmers market, organizing a public workshop at the historic Susanville Railroad Depot, and developing a StoryMap for the LCTC website that visually highlights transportation improvement projects across the county.
