Grant Writing

LSC has a proved track record of securing highly competitive grant funding for clients, including through the Active Transportation Program (ATP), Local Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD), and Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant Program (STPG). Some notable recent accomplishments include:

Securing $24 million in ATP funding for multimodal active transportation projects in the past 10 years, with two successful applications in Cycle 7.
Securing $500,000 in STPG funds for rural transportation planning efforts in past two years.
Providing transit planning expertise to a team securing a $20 Million BUILD grant.

LSC also have extensive knowledge and experience on staff in submitting FTA grants and, most recently, submitting SB 125 application packages and completing annual reporting.
